The Philadelphia 76ers will enter the 2014-15 season with quite a bit of promise, but also quite a bit of injury and intrigue. Last year’s first round pick, Nerlens Noel, failed to make an appearance during the regular season, though management hopes that he will be ready to go for the start of the 2014-15 campaign. Meanwhile, neither of this year’s first round picks, Joel Embiid and Dario Saric, will be playing on any NBA courts this year either. Embiid is recovering from foot surgery and it’s possible he will miss most, if not all, of next season. Meanwhile, Saric recently signed a contract with a professional team in Turkey so he is not allowed to play for two years.
Nonetheless, the Sixers are loaded with talent and if all goes to plan, it’s going to be quite expensive to get 76ers tickets in years to come. Noel and Embiid, if they can both stay healthy and further develop their offensive games, will be one of the most formidable groups of bigs in the Association. Very few teams boast one player the likes of Noel and Embid in their frontcourts, let alone two. Throw in Saric and the further development of players like Michael Carter-Williams, and chances are the Sixers are going to be a very talented team two to three years down the line.
Which is why this might be the best year to purchase Philadelphia 76ers tickets to see them play. Tickets were available for less than $10 to many games this year and once the Sixers schedule is released, chances are tickets will be just as inexpensive this year with expectations minimal. So fans who want to get a glimpse of potential future stars of Philadelphia, now is the time to do it!
