    Rush ticket info

Rush concert tickets have been a staple of music fans for decades as the Canadian trio unleash their wizardry on old fans and new fans alike. Now the 2007 Rush concert tour is set to span the continent, ranging from Tampa, Florida to Los Angeles, California and all points in between. Join the legions of fans who primed for power rock at its best with 2007 Rush concert tickets from ABCTickets.com.
It’s been a long road for the members of Rush as the band traces its roots back to the early 70’s. After paying their dues by pounding out chords in countless bar dates and small shows, Rush achieved the release of their first commercial album “Rush” with original drummer John Rutsey. When Rutsey left the band for health reasons he was replaced by Neil Peart, who immediately assumed songwriting duties and Rush began to sculpt the sound that has been their trademark ever since. The release of “Fly by Night” further enhanced the reputation of Rush, but when their 3rd album, “2112” debuted in 1976 Rush finally achieved long awaited commercial success. 2112 was followed by A Farewell to Kings in 1977, Hemispheres in 1978, and Permanent Waves in 1980, which spawned their hit “The Spirit of Radio.” By 1981, with the release of Moving Pictures and the hit single “Tom Sawyer”, Rush had achieved an almost iconic status in rock and Rush tickets were sellouts everywhere the band appeared. By the end of the 80’s Rush tickets became harder to come by as the band began to scale back their touring. Die hard fans were somewhat put off by the groups new musical direction which featured more complex tunes and special effects. But in the early 90’s Rush returned to their roots with Roll the Bones and Counterparts, two albums showcasing the band’s ability to rock with the best. Rush had re-established itself as Canada’s premiere power rock outfit. Now Rush tickets are powering their way to the top of the 2007 summer concert ticket list. Nobody’s been doing it longer and nobody’s ever done it better than Rush. Let ABCTickets put you in the house with 2007 Rush tickets.
