    Aarons 499 ticket info - Atlanta 500

Aaron’s 499 tickets give NASCAR fans one heck of a show. Held at the Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama, the Aaron’s 499 is one of the NASCAR circuit’s restrictor plate races, a challenge in itself. But what makes the race one of the hottest NASCAR tickets around is the track itself. The Talladega Speedway is designed in such a way that maximum speed is achieved by cars in close quarters. The pushing and shoving that goes on during the race makes the Aaron’s 499 prone to crashes, pushing the drivers’ skills to the limit and making Aaron’s 500 tickets one of the hottest NASCAR Nextel Cup Series tickets to be had.
Just ask Jeff Gordon. In the 2005 Aaron’s 499, Gordon, a four-time winner at Talladega, cruised across the finish line with a pile of cars left behind. In lap 132, Dale Earnhardt Jr. bumped Mike Wallace, who bumped Jimmie Johnson. The resulting chaos set off a 25-car chain reaction that held up the race for 43 minutes. But the carnage wasn't over. After the track was cleaned up Gordon assumed his lead spot, running ahead of the pack. With only a pair of laps left, another crash occurred, which took out Earnhardt, Biffle, and Harvick. From that point on, the remaining drivers failed to seriously challenge Gordon and the reputation of the Aaron’s 499 as a NASCAR event where anything can happen got even bigger. Gordon’s win ended a string of Earnhardt victories and established Hendrick Motorsports as the new king of restrictor plate events.
The Talladega Superspeedway is known as one of the best racing facilities in the world. Home of the Aaron’s 499 and the UAW-Ford 500, Talladega has an infield of over 200 acres and can seat 143,000 fans. Featuring a 2.66 mile tri-oval course, the facility is known as the NASCAR’s most competitive track and in 1997, Mark Martin ran at an average speed of over 188 miles per hour. You can't ask much more of a NASCAR ticket than what gets delivered by Aaron’s 499 tickets. Top competition, blazing speed, and one of the world’s finest racing facilities are all hallmarks of the Aaron’s 499.
