CINCINNATI REDS TICKETS
Big Reasons to Buy Cincinnati Reds Tickets
A new wind is blowing for the Cincinnati Reds this season, and Reds ticket sales
will be soaring high with the change that’s coming. The new owner of the Reds
Robert Castellni has been pulling the team together well, and manager Jerry
Narron has been shaping the team up in the off-season while the key players are
getting ready to perform.
New owner Robert Castellni purchased the Reds in 2006 and since then a new era
of Reds baseball has been ushered in. With a fairly successful 06’ season
Castellni decided to start off this year with new uniforms implying that it’s
time to get down to business and hit some out of the park. The new mind-set is
showing on and off the field as the players have been working hard during the
off season and are ready for show time.
Manager Jerry Narron has also been keeping the attitude positive throughout the
team, and hoping that the players have learned a little something from last
years fade out in the middle of the season. Players like Aaron Harang and
Bronson Arroyo will bring out a competitive edge to the team, while players like
Josh Hamilton will provide some controversy for Reds ticket holders to squabble
over.
If the promise of a great season isn’t enough for fans, then the sighting of a
celebrity Reds supporter or two might be enough to push the purchase of
Cincinnati Reds tickets over the edge. Such celebrity’s as Steven Spielberg,
George Clooney, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Nick Lachey have been known to show
their support for the Reds.
Take Me Out on the Town with Great American Ball Park Tickets
The Great American Ball Park is certainly a site to see. Home to the Reds since
2003 it has such characteristics as Pepsi Power Stacks that flash lights, and
produce smoke and fireworks during the game. Other attractions to the park
include panoramas of downtown Cincinnati, a tribute to two legendary Reds teams,
and a bas-relief carving called the “Spirit of Baseball” that is not to miss.
You’ll Want Cincinnati Reds Tickets for these Big Match-Ups
Don’t miss out on tickets when the Reds take on their rivals the Pirates on May
25-27th. The Pirates are known to put up a good fight, but that won’t stand in
Cincy. Also, don’t forget to grab up Reds tickets when they play the St. Louis
Cardinals on June 29-1st of July – it’s sure to be one for the books! .
Cincinnati Reds tickets were an up and down experience in the 2005 MLB season.
You could just as easily watch the Reds take a huge lead as see them fall behind
by big numbers. The difference between the offensive arsenal and the lackluster
pitching was as wide as the Grand Canyon. So in the off-season the Reds tried to
even things up by trading off some the hitting prowess to bolster their pitching
staff. Whether they did enough is the major question Reds ticket holders will be
looking to find out as 2006 gets underway.
The Reds do have several pitchers worth their salt on any given day. The problem
has been getting a consistent performance out of the guy on the mound. Dave
Williams, acquired in a trade with
Pittsburgh, should help. Williams can work the plate, throw with varying
speed, and has a good changeup. Aaron Harang should once again be the Reds
workhorse. Harang can dish out a fastball, slider, changeup, curve, or a split
finger, so he’s got enough of an arsenal to keep a batter on his toes. He was
11-13 in 2005 with an ERA of 3.83. For some reason Eric Milton had a problem in
the Reds home stadium, the Great American Ball Park. Most of his 15 losses came
at home while the majority of his 8 wins were on the road. While he’s expected
to play a major part, the Reds need him to cut down on the home run balls.
Felipe Lopez will lead off again in 2006. Great bat speed and the ability to
place the ball well. He’s improving on his ability to read the pitcher and if
he’s on base, he’s a threat to steal. Ken Griffey batted .301 in 2005. He’s not
quite as quick over the plate as he used to be and not the base runner he once
was, but if he can stay healthy he’ll be a positive for the Reds lineup.
The Great American Ball Park and Cincinnati Reds tickets are a great way to
spend some time if you love MLB. The Reds are coming off a lackluster year of
only 79 wins and a fifth place finish in the National league’s Central Division
but the feeling is that management made the right moves in the off-season to put
the Reds back in contention. In any case, Cincinnati Reds tickets will deliver
firepower at the plate and the Reds, with their improved pitching staff, should
be in the thick of things as the season rolls along.
