The Minnesota Twins stayed in contention for the wild card for much of last summer and though they were surpassed in the standings by the Cleveland Indians and the World Champion Chicago White Sox, they still finished with an 83 win season and showed promise for the future. Castillo is known for his speedy base-running and will likely spark things at the top of the order. Adding a little more punch to the line-up will be Tony Batista, who joins Jason Bartlett on the left side of the infield and has the ability to put up 30 homeruns and a hundred RBI. The Minnesota Twins will be doing whatever they can to make it back to the playoffs this year and have all the tools to do it. Gardenhire has shown that he can get the most from this team and Twins tickets will be in demand as they look to re-establish themselves in the American League Central this year.
