The Suns first came to Phoenix in 1968, but it took them into 1976 to make it to the NBA Finals, where they were beaten by the Boston Celtics. From 1988 to 2001, the Suns made to the playoffs every year, until the sun set on their success when they traded Jason Kidd away. But the Suns would soon rise again in Phoenix.

Their defense was a little suspect however, and it may have cost them in the end. But with Raja Bell stepping in for the loss of Joe Johnson, the Suns aren’t too worried.
