    GMAC Bowl ticket info

Looking for some college football action? Would you like to see explosive offense? Lots of scoring? Grab some 2005 GMAC Bowl tickets and head for Ladd Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Alabama on December 21, and you’ll get what you’re looking for. This year’s GMAC Bowl has locked in two of the most exciting teams around, The University of Toledo Rockets and the University of Texas El Paso Miners.  Flying under the radar, these two squads have posted some of the most impressive numbers in college football. UTEP, playing in the Conference USA, finished at 8-3 on the season. With quarterback Jordan Palmer at the helm, the Miners average 310.5 yards a game passing. That puts them at No. 6 in the nation. The Miners gain 438 yards a game in total offense, which puts them in the Top 20. At 33.6 points a game, the Miners can satisfy any college football fans craving for high-powered offense. Palmer is only in his junior year and already holds the school record for passing yards, (7,326), and touchdowns, (61). In 2005 alone Palmer has thrown for 3,340 yards.  What can the University of Toledo rockets answer with? How about senior quarterback Bruce Gradkowski and running back Trinity Dawson? Gradkowski and crew average 35 points a game. You read that right — Five touchdowns a game on taverage. Gradkowski racked up over 2,000 yards in 2005, while hitting on over 60% of his passes and notching 24 touchdowns. The kid’s got the touch. When the Rockets want to pound it out they hand the ball of to Trinity Dawson. The 5’10,” 200-pound senior gained over 1,000 yards in 2005, topping the century mark in six games and gaining 167 against Bowling Green alone.  The 2005 GMAC Bowl puts two teams on the field that together average almost 70 points a game. With the kind of high powered scoring attack these two teams throw at you, GMAC Bowl tickets have to be the best bargain in college football postseason. A stone’s throw from the Gulf of Mexico, Ladd Peeble Stadium gives fans a warm place to enjoy the hottest college football in Alabama at the 2005 GMAC Bowl.
