Now in his sixth NFL season, Palmer has positioned himself among top starters in
the league. But he desperately needs to lead the Bengals back to the playoffs,

He is coming off of his best year as a pro. The former Heisman trophy winner
threw for a career-high 4,131 yards with 26 touchdowns.
Wide receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh has stepped out of the shadow of disgruntled

by drafting cornerback Johnathan Joseph in the first round. Joseph came by way

Cincinnati the quality depth they’ve been lacking and should make his mark in
the nickel and dime packages and break into the starting lineup before the
season is over.
With momentum on their side, and tasting success for the first time in years,
the Bengals won’t be satisfied with just reaching the playoffs in 2006. This is
