The core of last year’s club returns intact. Quarterback Derek Anderson is coming off the best season of his career by far. The Oregon State product tossed 29 touchdowns and passed for more than 3,700 yards in 2008.
Anderson’s primary target also appears to be coming into his own. Acrobatic wide receiver Braylon Edwards exploded for 16 touchdowns and 1,289 yards. The former first-round draft pick out of Michigan had struggled his first couple of NFL seasons. But, much to the delight of Cleveland Browns ticket holders, Edwards began to live up to his potential last season.
Cleveland Browns tickets will certainly take NFL fans on a wild, exciting ride in 2008. With the dynamic quarterback-receiver connection of Anderson and Edwards, the Browns will be lighting up scoreboards across the league. Is this the year the Browns return to the NFL Playoffs? The potential is there, but will 2008 Cleveland Browns tickets deliver? Find out by contacting ABCTickets.com today!

2008 Cleveland Browns Stadium: Cleveland Browns Stadium seats

Located off the North Coast Harbor, Cleveland Browns Stadium is a long Derek Anderson touchdown pass away from Lake Erie. It seats more 73,000 screaming Browns ticket holders and could get awfully rowdy when Cleveland starts rolling.

Cleveland Browns Stadium replaced the old Cleveland Municipal Stadium, after hated former owner Art Modell moved Cleveland’s beloved NFL franchise to Baltimore.

2008 Cleveland Browns Tickets: A tough slate

An extremely tough road lies ahead for the Browns in the 2008 NFL season. The Browns host the mighty Dallas Cowboys to open the season. The defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants also will make an appearance at Cleveland Browns Stadium.
The Browns will play on Monday Night Football twice this season. Cleveland plays at Buffalo on Nov. 17, and then travels to Philadelphia for a Monday-night clash with the Eagles on Dec. 15. You can bet those two Cleveland Browns tickets will two of the hottest of the season.

Top Ten Reasons to Buy Cleveland Browns Tickets

1. First Round QB Brady Quinn – There's not a team in the NFL more excited for their future than the Cleveland Browns. The Browns' ticket to success rests squarely on the shoulders of future superstar quarterback Brady Quinn.
2. First Round OT Joe Thomas – With all the excitement surrounding Brady Quinn, it's easy to forget about offensive tackle Joe Thomas, who's job it will be to keep Quinn safe from blitzers and to open holes for reason number three:
3. RB Jamal Lewis – Cleveland Browns tickets holders can't wait to see their new running back Jamal Lewis take the field. After several seasons of a weak running game, they can't wait to see Lewis crash the line.
4. WR Braylon Edwards – The Browns' offensive potential continues with wide receiver Braylon Edwards, who is quickly becoming noticed as one of the best in the league.
5. TE Kellen Winslow Jr. – Browns ticket holders are holding their breath that this year is the year that tight end Kellen Winslow Jr. is fully healthy and ready to become the elite tight end his father was.
6. Head Coach Romeo Crennel – Romeo Crennel hasn't had the same success in Cleveland that he had in New England, but you can tell that this is team headed in the right direction.
7. Heated AFC North Rivalries – AFC North division football is some of the most punishing around. When the Ravens, Steelers, and Bengals come to town, your Cleveland Browns tickets are a guarantee of some great football.
8. Future Powerhouse? – Things are looking up in Cleveland. Are all the pieces finally in place? The talent is there, it just needs to be harnessed.
9. Cleveland Browns Stadium – Watching the Dawg Pound at Cleveland Browns Stadium is almost as much fun as watching the game. These fans are Browns-crazy!
10. Great Schedule – Your Cleveland Browns tickets gets you in to see some of the hottest teams in football this year, including the Ravens, Bengals, Dolphins, and Seahawks, Bills, 49ers, and Texans.

Cleveland Browns tickets are offering NFL fans something a little different for the 2006 NFL season. His name is Charlie Frye. Yes, head coach Romeo Crennel threw caution to the wind shortly after the NFL Draft and traded the steady but unspectacular Trent Dilfer to the San Francisco 49ers for their backup QB Ken Dorsey and a pick in Round 7 of next year’s draft. But the trade clears the way for Frye to take the reins of a team that finished 6-10 in 2005, a modest improvement over their 4-12 finish in 2004. Obviously the thinking is that it’s time to find out whether or not Frye has what it takes to be an NFL quarterback and based on his performance at Akron, odds are that he can get the job done.

Frye re-wrote the record books at Akron. As a junior he completed 273 passes for 3, 549 yards and 22 touchdowns while completing better than 60% of his passes. Although his numbers dropped off as a senior that was due more to his surrounding cast than to his ability.

In 2006, Frye will have a little more to work with than Dilfer did last year. Tight end Kellen Winslow is back from a self-inflicted injury that ended his debut season before it could really begin. On the offensive line, the Browns nabbed LeCharles Bentley and Kevin Shaffer to help protect the passer. Of course Reuben Droughns, the hard- hitting running back will still be the mainstay of the Browns running games. Droughns topped 1,200 yards in 2005 and should benefit from a better passing attack to keep defenses from stacking the line.

Crennel and the Browns went for defensive help in the NFL draft, focusing almost exclusively on linebackers. Kamerion Wimbley (1st round) is a prototype outside linebacker while D’Qwell Jackson (2nd Round) was the highest rated inside linebacker on most draft boards. Think the Browns weren’t serious about improving their linebacking corps? In the fourth round they went back to the well for Leon Williams, an athletic although slightly undersized linebacker from Miami of Florida.

It’s going to be an interesting season in Paul Brown Stadium in 2006. There’s nothing quite like watching a young team on the rise. For the Browns, having the Steelers and the Bengals in their division is going to make the going tough, but for the fans, finally seeing some results on the field is going to make those Cleveland Browns tickets even sweeter.

CLEVELAND BROWNS (4-11) AT HOUSTON TEXANS (5-10) TICKETS
1:00 p.m., Sunday
Reliant Stadium

This game may not be great matchup of NFL powerhouses, but it is a game between two fairly evenly matched teams, which means good football. Browns QB Derek Anderson has filled in admirably for the injured Charlie Frye, and RQ Rueben Droughns should finally be fully healthy and ready to take on the Texans. They will have their work cut out for them as they face a defense that held the Indianapolis Colts in check. The Browns aren’t as bad as their record indicates, and they should pull out a win against Houston.

CLEVELAND BROWNS (4-10) VS. TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS (3-11) TICKETS

The Browns have taken a beating this season, but QB Derrick Anderson made a game of it last week against the Ravens, throwing for two touchdowns against the top-ranked Baltimore defense. He should have a little less resistance against the aging Tampa Bay defense at home. Tampa Bay can't score and can't stop anyone, which is good for the Browns would have problems doing just that themselves.

Every time the Browns appear to take one step forward, they take another one back. Last week’s disappointing performance in a loss to Pittsburgh is a prime example. You have to begin to wonder how long before Browns’ second-year head coach Romeo Crennell begins to hear his name mentioned on the hot seat. But for now, he’ll focus his team on the Ravens. That’s something no one in the NFL wants to be thinking about.

Don’t you just love the NFL? With the Cleveland Browns looking like the NFL’s worst losers they turn around and beat the high flying Kansas City Chiefs 31-28. And they did it with a backup quarterback. Who’da thunk it? Now the Browns get the chance to take on the Super Bowl Champion Pittsburgh Steelers, who are mired in their own swamp of mediocrity. A couple of gifts from Big Ben and the Browns could pull off another upset. Will Romeo Crennel let the new guy keep playing? We’ll have to wait and see but it’s a whole new ball game for Cleveland with this kid under center.

KANSAS CITY CHIEFS (7-4) AT CLEVELAND BROWNS (3-8)

The Cleveland Browns are pitiful. They’re also deserving of pity. After getting blasted 30-0 by the Bengals they now have to take a beating from Larry Johnson. Which brings us to the reason for being in Cleveland Browns Stadium for this game. Larry Johnson is on such a roll he may just set all-time NFL records against the stumbling, bumbling Browns defense. Seriously, Romeo is quickly losing the love interest of Cleveland fans and if the bleeding doesn’t stop soon Juliet will be standing on the balcony calling for a new coach in Cleveland.

In desperate search of some offense, the Browns head east to take on Michael Vick and the Falcons. With talented tight end Kellon Winslow and explosive wide out Braylon Edwards, the Browns should have more firepower than they have displayed. But it just hasn’t happened yet. Don’t look for things to change this week against a stingy Falcons defense that is proving to be one of the best in the NFL.

CLEVELAND BROWNS (2-5) AT SAN DIEGO CHARGERS (5-2) TICKETS

How about those Browns? Nice win over the New York Jets last week, but the competition is getting ready to stiffen with Sunday’s trip to San Diego, where the Chargers, led by LaDanian Tomlinson, have putting up big numbers. But San Diego will be without All-Pro linebacker Shawne Merriman, who will begin his suspension for violating the NFL’s steroid policy. Cheater. Will the Browns be able to take advantage? No, they’re still the Browns, after all.

ABCTickets.com NFL Prediction: San Diego Chargers 23, Cleveland 10

The Cleveland Browns finally got on the board in Week 4, posting a win over the stumbling bumbling Oakland Raiders. The Browns needed something to build on and they got it. Now they can take a little momentum into Bank of America Stadium against a Panthers team that’s starting to look like the playoff contender everyone thought they would be. On the road against a good team a Browns win would be an upset but stranger things have happened in the parity ridden NFL. .

The Browns proved their mettle last week when they managed to hang 14 points on the Baltimore defense, who up to that point had not given up a single touchdown. PAST WEEK’S CLEVELAND BROWNS TICKETS
BALTIMORE RAVENS AT CLEVELAND BROWNS TICKETS
1 p.m., Sunday
Cleveland Browns Stadium

Cleveland Browns tickets do have some bright spots heading into this game. The Ravens have yet to face as mobile a quarterback as Charlie Fry. The Browns haven’t been beaten so much as they’ve been beating themselves. Miracles don’t happen often in the NFL but if Cleveland can play mistake free football they’ve got a chance. And remember, the Ravens defense is due for a letdown after back to back domination. The Ravens looking past a weak team is the Browns ticket to an upset.

ABCTickets.com NFL Prediction: Baltimore Ravens 28, Cleveland Browns 6
(Last Week: 13-3/Season 33-9)

Fantasy Football ticket to victory: Cleveland Browns running back Reuben Droughns. (Last Week: Reuben Droughns - 32 yards on 14 rushes, 1 TD)
