The Big Tuna got his big tackle and now he wants you to get your 2008 Miami
Dolphins tickets.
That's right, the Big Tuna, legendary football mind Bill Parcells is running the
show at Dolphins Stadium. After spending last year in the ESPN broadcast booth,
Parcells was itching to get back into the game. He considered the Atlanta
Falcons, but quickly realized Miami was the place for him.
Parcells has a difficult task in front of him, but can rely on more than two
decades worth of NFL experience to accomplish his goals. Parcells has taken two
teams to the Super Bowl, winning a pair of Lombardi trophies with the New York
Giants. He also built the New England Patriots, New York Jets and Dallas Cowboys
into perennial playoff contenders during his illustrious career.
There's little doubt that Parcells will get the Dolphins turned around, but how
long it takes is another question. 2008 Miami Dolphins tickets will provide some
of the answers.
For instance, Dolphins ticket holders will likely find out who their quarterback
of the future during the 2008 NFL season.
Will it be second-year pro John Beck, who the Dolphins picked out of BYU in the
2007 NFL Draft? Or will rookie Chad Henne out of Michigan emerge as the
frontrunner?
Whichever quarterback earns the starting role will have the benefit of dropping
back in the pocket behind No. 1 overall draft pick, Michigan offensive tackle
Jake Long.
Talented running back Ronnie Brown will also be happy to see Long paving the way
for him. Before suffering a season-ending injury last year, Brown was leading
the NFL in rushing. The Auburn product expects to be back at full strength for
the 2008 NFL season.
The blueprint has been laid out. The rebuilding process has begun at Dolphins
Stadium. Bill Parcells is overseeing the entire process. So make plans to see
the Big Tuna work his magic and resurrect the Dolphins. It will be a daunting
task, but if anyone can do it, it's Parcells. So don't put off buying 2008 Miami
Dolphins tickets from ABCTickets.com. It's your chance to see the rebirth of the
Miami Dolphins.
Top 10 Reasons to Buy Miami Dolphins Tickets
10. Saban the tyrant is gone! After two lackluster seasons, surly coach Nick
Saban is gone. The grouchy coach who failed to deliver a playoff berth in his
brief tenure in Miami jumped back to the college ranks to take over the
University of Alabama. Saban’s departure made room for new Miami coach Cam
Cameron.
9. Dolphin Stadium: Dolphin Stadium has hosted four Super Bowls, including last
year’s game between the Indianapolis Colts and Chicago Bears, proving that it’s
one of the top venues in all of the NFL.
8. Chris Chambers: Seemingly each year, Chris Chambers is expected to explode
and finally live up to his enormous potential. Is this the season the talented
wide out delivers? Find out with Miami Dolphins tickets.
7. Jason Taylor: The reigning defensive player of the year, Jason Taylor is in
the twilight of his career. But the relentless pass rusher isn’t showing any
signs of slowing down anytime soon.
6. John Beck: The Dolphins past on Notre Dame golden boy Brady Quinn in the
first round and ended up with BYU product John Beck. A prototypical pocket
passer, Beck will be looked upon to solidify the Dolphins’ quarterback position,
which just hasn’t been the same since Dan Marino retired.
5. 4. Cam Cameron's offense: Cameron arrives in Miami after an ultra-successful
stint as offensive coordinator of the San Diego Chargers.
4. Ted Ginn Jr.: A controversial first-round pick, Ginn Jr. should bring instant
energy to Dolphins Stadium. The former Ohio State Buckeye is an electric wide
receiver and kick returner.
3. 2007 Miami Dolphins Schedule: Miami Dolphins tickets will treat NFL football
fans to a live look at some of the most successful franchises in the league,
including the Dallas Cowboys (Sept. 16), the Oakland Raiders (Sept. 30) and New
England Patriots (Oct. 21), among many other tantalizing match-ups.
2. South Beach: Plan your entire weekend around your 2007 Miami Dolphins
tickets, but make sure to find time to visit South Beach, where the nightlife on
the beach never ends.
1. Ronnie Brown: It’s time for Ronnie Brown to emerge as the Dolphins’ franchise
back. The ‘Phins took the Auburn product with the second pick in the 2006 NFL
Draft. While Brown has shown signs of greatness, he’s yet to put up the kind of
numbers expected from a top five pick.
Miami Dolphins tickets are again on the menu of Florida sports entertainment.
The Dolphins organization has always been a draw for some of the top talent over
the years. The Shula and Marino years have set a tradition of elite competition
by Miami in the AFC. Last year did not quite live up to expectations, though, as
the Fish finished a mediocre 9-7 and failed to make the playoffs. Miami’s big
name defense did allow the least amount of points in the AFC east, but that did
not stop Nick Saban and the Dolphin brass from hunting new defensive talent in
the NFL Draft. These additions, along with some free-agent bounty highlighted by
the acquisition of All-Pro quarterback Daunte Culpepper, put the Dolphins in
position to build on the foundation laid in Saban’s first year.
The biggest story in the Dolphins’ camp this off-season was the signing of
Culpepper. Culpepper represents a serious upgrade at quarterback for the
Dolphins, having thrown for over 20,000 yards in his seven years with the
Vikings. Nick Saban may have inherited a team with quarterback problems, but
in his second year at the helm, he’s now solved them. Expect running back Ronnie
Brown to come into his own in 2006. Brown rushed for 907 yards on 207 carries in
his rookie season, but after troubled teammate Ricky Williams was suspended by
the NFL, Brown looks to be carrying a heavier load this time around.
Dolphins fans have been flocking to Pro Player Stadium in recent years to see
the
Pro Bowl defenders Zach Thomas and Jason Taylor. The two accounted for 166
tackles and over 70% of the team’s sacks. Looking to build on their already
solid defense the Dolphins used the 13th pick in the 2006 NFL Draft to upgrade
their secondary with the selection of Tennessee cornerback Jason Allen. Allen
has NFL speed coming out of college and has been a favorite player of Saban’s
since he attempted to recruit him at LSU out of high school.
Miami Dolphins tickets will be making a big splash this season. With a running
back that is certain to improve with experience, a proven quarterback, and a
beefed up defense, the Miami Dolphins will be gunning for the big boys in the
AFC East.

Miami stunk up the joint one week after shutting out the Patriots. How schizo is that? But wait, Cleo Lemon is coming in to save the season. Seriously, the Dolphins have been eliminated from the playoff picture. Is it time for Saban to start looking at players for next year? Or will he keep trying to win. We don't see how the Dolphins can possibly get hyped up for this game. At least not as hyped up as the Jets. Harrington may play but it won't make a difference. The Dolphins defense has been carrying the team all year and they'll have to have a great game to stop the Jets.

The Dolphins were playing well up until Week 13 when the Jaguars put up a 24-10 roadblock to the NFL Playoffs. Now the New England Patriots, fresh off wins over the Bears and the Lions, will come in chasing the Colts for the AFC lead. This is a very important game for both teams. The winner will vastly improve his chances or his ranking in the playoff hunt. Miami’s defense needs to rebound from their showing against the Jags. The Patriots won in Detroit but not impressively. Dolphins fans hailed Nick Saban as a savior last season. Just when they were getting ready to burn him in effigy he gets the Dolphins playing real football again. We'll find out what Saban is all about in front of a national audience all stuffed with turkey on this Thanksgiving Day game. Make no mistake, it's the Dolphins defense that has been putting them in the win column. Joey Harrington seems to have settled in as a competent, if not great, starting quarterback. As long as he doesn't make any major mistakes the Dolphins have a chance. But playing in Detroit, against a team that lives for this game, is going to be tough on Harrington, who's known ton choke on the big stage.

PAST WEEK'S MIAMI DOLPHINS TICKETS MINNESOTA VIKINGS (4-5) AT MIAMI DOLPHINS (3-6) TICKETS 1 p.m., Sunday Dolphins Stadium
The Dolphins are showing signs of a resurgence. In the past two weeks they’ve beaten both the Chicago Bears and the Kansas City Chiefs, two of the NFL’s better teams. The Dolphins relied on defense after taking a 13-0 lead and that unit responded with big play after big play, shutting down Larry Johnson and creating a late turnover to preserve a 13-10 lead. The Dolphins will need more of the same when the Vikings come to town. Minnesota is in a must win situation after dropping three straight. But the Vikes are struggling on both sides of the ball. Normally a game against a 3-6 opponent looks like an opportunity to get something going, but in this case it looks like a scary situation for Minnesota. br> ABCTickets.com NFL Prediction: Kansas City Chiefs 28, Miami Dolphins 24, Minnesota Vikings 20

Give the Dolphins their due. This is a team that hasn’t quit despite a miserable start. Nick Saban has a defense that’s playing well. He also has a quarterback that’s looks like he’s a little more comfortable under center now. The Dolphins finally got Ronnie Brown cut loose too. All things considered the Dolphins have the potential to finish strong but they’ve got a tough game against Kansas City on Sunday. As if things weren’t bad enough for the Dolphins. After a miserable 1-6 start, their free agent quarterback out, and a list of injuries that makes the team roster look like ER, the Dolphins now have to play the Chicago Bears. With Rex Grossman playing well again and the Bears defense conjuring up images of the 1985 Super Bowl team, Miami will be lucky if they can just make the game respectable. Either that or the Dolphins will begin another late season surge. Nah, not gonna happen. br> ABCTickets.com NFL Prediction: Chicago Bears 35, Miami Dolphins 14
