Minnesota Vikings Tickets - ADRIAN!
After a 1-3 start that includes a loss to Detroit the cry out of Vikings
territory is for a healthy dose of Adrian Peterson. Nothing gets an offense
going like a good running game and lord knows Holcomb or Jackson could use the
help. The way the Vikings schedule is set up, October means the Vikings should
be running the ball whenever possible.
Hot Vikings
Adrian Peterson - The stud from OK is everything he promised to be. A battering
ram with speed, Peterson is shining in his NFL debut. Almost 400 yards and a 5.0
average while not starting? Come on, start the guy!
The Vikings Defense - Despite their record, this is a Vikings defense that is
still tough against the run. A sputtering offense is to blame. For fantasy
players the Vikings defense is paying off.
Best Vikings Tickets in October
Vikings fans were hoping for a much better start. Now they'll have to deal with
a rough October schedule. Three road games and only one shot at Vikings home
tickets. It all starts with Bears-Vikings tickets at Soldier Field. Then
Cowboys-Vikings tickets in Dallas. Finally, you'll get the chance to see the
Vikings meet up with a struggling Eagles team at home. Take the opportunity.
Top Ten Reasons to Buy Minnesota Vikings Tickets 1. QB Tavaris Jackson - With a new quarterback at the helm, your Minnesota
Vikings tickets get you the chance to see an outstanding young quarterback amaze
the league with his athletic ability and quick reads of the defense. Tavaris
Jackson is the real deal, for sure.
2. RB Adrian Peterson - In the first round of this year's draft, fans cheered
the new Minnesota Vikings ticket to victory, running back Adrian Peterson.
Peterson has the skills and determination to be one of the elite backs in the
league, and it doesn't hurt to have reason #4:
3. G Steve Hutchinson - It's not often that a guard is a superstar, but Steve
Hutchinson is the exception. Hutchinson may be the best guard to ever play the
game: your grandma could run through the holes he blows open in the line. Adrian
Peterson is counting his lucky stars to be running behind Hutchinson.
4. NFC North Up For Grabs - Let's face it, the NFC North is anybody's division.
The Minnesota Vikings ticket to the post season could very well be as division
champs.
5. Beautiful Twin Cities - Minneapolis and St. Paul are the jewels of the
northern Midwest. Each city has a vibrant downtown, and is full of parks.
There's not a better vacation spot around.
6. NFC North Rivalries - The rivalries between the Minnesota Vikings, Green Bay
Packers, Detroit Lions, and Chicago Bears are second-to-none. Every game is
guaranteed to be action-packed and drama-filled.
7. The Metrodome - This could be your last chance to get Minnesota Vikings
tickets to the Metrodome. They're working on getting a new stadium, so don't
miss your last chance to see the Vikes play in the Metrodome.
8. Outstanding Running Game - With Peterson and Chester Taylor in the backfield,
Vikings fans should expect to be wowed by how much the team moves the ball on
the ground. The Vikings ticket to success will be the running game this year.
9. Second Year for Brad Childress - Head Coach Brad Childress is in his second
season with the Vikings, and his grand plans are finally starting to come
together. Don't miss it when the Vikings turn into a powerhouse team in the NFC.
10. Great Matchups on the Schedule - Some of the great teams outside the
division your Minnesota Vikings tickets get you in to see include: Michael Vick
and the Atlanta Falcons, Donovan McNabb and the Philadelphia Eagles, as well as
LaDainian Tomlinson and the San Diego Chargers.
THIS WEEK'S MINNESOTA VIKINGS TICKETS
ST. LOUIS RAMS (7-8) AT MINNESOTA VIKINGS (6-9) TICKETS
1 p.m., Sunday
The MetroDome
The Vikings had what may have been their worst game of the season in Green Bay, generating only seven points and three first downs. Now they have to face the high powered Marc Bulger led Rams offense. Sorry to say, Minnesota just doesn’t seem to be able to get up for the game. St. Louis will be playing to avoid a losing season and earn roster spots for next year. Meanwhile, the Tarvaris Jackson audition rolls on to an ugly conclusion.
ABCTickets.com NFL Prediction: St. Louis Rams 28, Minnesota 17
(Last Week: 9-7/Season 125-74)
Fantasy Football ticket to victory: Minnesota running back Chester Taylor has been a good option for the Vikings as of late.
ABCTickets.com is here to take you all the way to the playoffs with our large inventory of NFL football tickets, our expert predictions and our fantasy football tickets to victory.
Minnesota Vikings tickets won’t get you a seat on the infamous party boat, but a
pair of Vikings tickets from ABCTickets.com will put you and your best pigskin
buddy front and center at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome. Once you arrive,
you’ll be treated to a live look at Minnesota’s revamped and revitalized roster.
It was out with the old and in with the new during the offseason for the
Vikings. Quarterback Daunte Culpepper, head coach Mike Tice and top receiver
Nate Burleson were handed their walking papers. Longtime
Eagles coordinator Brad Childress was hired to replace Tice. Childress will
turn his offense over to veteran quarterback Brad Johnson, who performed
admirably after Culpepper went down early last season. Starting only nine games,
Johnson passed for nearly 1,900 yards and 12 touchdowns and nearly helped the
Vikings overcome a dismal 1-5 start to make the playoffs.
Alas, the postseason was just a pipe dream for the Vikings, who were troubled by
off the field events, in particular the sex-boat scandal that involved Culpepper
and All-Pro defensive lineman Kevin Williams. But that’s all in the past, and
Childress is looking to turn the page on what he hopes will be a storybook
season in Minnesota.
With Burleson in
Seattle, Childress will need a big year out of talented but sometimes
distracted wide receiver Koren Robinson to make that happen. The former North
Carolina State star has struggled with off-the-field problems throughout his
six-year career, but looked like a good fit in Minnesota last season.
Second-year wide out Troy Williamson and veteran receivers Marcus Robinson and
Travis Taylor will also contribute in the 2006 NFL season.
It’s a whole new cast of characters in Minnesota. After last year’s struggles,
that’s not a bad thing. There’s no party boat this year. But there might just be
a playoff party. First the Vikings will have to contend with what is a wide-open
NFC North division. So don’t wait around thinking the Vikings are going nowhere
this season. Be original. Don your best purple outfit and head over to the
Metrodome after picking up Minnesota Vikings tickets from ABCTickets.com.

MINNESOTA VIKINGS (6-8) AT GREEN BAY PACKERS (8-6) TICKETS
8 p.m., Thursday
Lambeau Field
The Vikings blew a golden opportunity to improve their playoff chances last week. But there’s still a glimmer of hope in Minnesota. Coach Brad Childress’ team is facing a must-win game against their NFC North division rivals, the Green Bay Packers.
The Vikings, who have been led by a stifling defense all season long, will look to slow down Brett Favre and the Packers. But it won’t be easy. Farve, in what may be his last season, is playing some of his best football of the year, cutting down on his turnovers while still taking the kind of chances that have given him his gunslinger attitude. Say goodbye to your playoff hopes, Viking fans.
ABCTickets.com NFL Prediction: Green Bay 20, Minnesota 17
(Last Week: 9-7/Season 116-67)

PAST WEEK'S MINNESOTA VIKINGS TICKETS
NEW YORK JETS (7-6) AT MINNESOTA VIKINGS (6-7) TICKETS
1 p.m. Sunday
The Metrodome
The Vikings kept themselves in the playoff hunt with a win over the Detroit Lions last week but it wasn’t pretty. Minnesota faces a much tougher task when the take on the Jets in Week 15. The AFC has been kicking NFC butt this season and the Jets are reeling from a 31-13 thrashing by Buffalo. Minnesota may have found a weapon in Artose Pinner, a Lions cast off that scored three touchdowns and racked up 125 yards against Detroit. It would be nice if the Vikings offense could keep Chad Pennington off the field. But the way we look at it, it’s time for the contenders to step up and the pretenders to step aside. In other words, despite a good Vikings defense, the Jets will prevail.
ABCTickets.com NFL Prediction: New York Jets 28, Minnesota Vikings 17
(Last Week: 9-7/Season 116-67)
Fantasy Football ticket to victory: Tough call here. Will Chester Taylor, out with rib injuries last week, get the call? Or will the Vikings look for more out of Pinner? If we were coaching we’d call it for Pinner.

THIS PAST WEEK'S MINNESOTA VIKINGS TICKETS
MINNESOTA VIKINGS TICKETS (5-7) TICKETS AT DETROIT LIONS (2-10)
1 p.m. Sunday
Ford Field
The Minnesota Vikings get some relief this week as they travel to Detroit. At 2-10 the Lions look like patsies but Minnesota shouldn’t start counting their chickens just yet. Brad Johnson is struggling under center and the Vikings defense and special teams can’t seem to get it together. The Lions played well against a tough Patriots team so this is no cakewalk. In the NFL every game is tough and the Vikings need a good performance across the board to keep their small glimmer of playoff hopes alive.
Fantasy Football ticket to victory: RB Chester Taylor is still the highlight of this offense. (Last Week: Taylor, 17 carries, 99 yards, 0 TD’s)

PAST WEEK'S MINNESOTA VIKINGS TICKETS
ARIZONA CARDINALS (2-8) MINNESOTA VIKINGS (4-6) TICKETS
1 p.m. Sunday
The Metrodome
If the Vikings weren't in alarm mode before this week they are now. Minnesota has now dropped four games in a row and the chances of a playoff spot are quickly evaporating. But this isn't a bad team. The Vikings are killing themselves. Against Miami the Vikings lost three turnovers and let a mediocre Dolphins team get the upper hand. Minnesota also needs to get some type of offensive continuity. The fits and starts of offense they've shown just won't cut it. Now they face a Cardinals team led by promising young QB Matt Lienart who just posted his first NFL win and is growing in confidence every week.
Fantasy Football ticket to victory: RB Chester Taylor continues to shine in a lackluster offense (Last Week: Taylor, 28 carries, 80 yards, 2 TD's)

PAST WEEK'S MINNESOTA VIKINGS TICKETS
MINNESOTA VIKINGS (4-5) TICKETS AT MIAMI (3-6) DOLPHINS
1 p.m. Sunday
Dolphins Stadium
The Vikings are struggling. The Dolphins have dusted off the Chicago Bears and the Kansas City Chiefs in their last two outings. For the Dolphins it means earning some respect. For the Vikings it’s a chance to get back into the playoff picture, which is slipping out of their hands after dropping three straight. Brad Johnson is still clinging to the starting QB spot but without a win it may not be long till he gets the hook. For NFL fans, it’s a chance to see what happens when two teams with their backs to the wall collide on a Sunday in the fall.
Fantasy Football ticket to victory: RB Chester Taylor has at least been a consistent part of the Vikings offense. (Last Week: Taylor, 20 carries for 70 yards)

NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS (5-2) AT MINNESOTA VIKINGS (4-2) TICKETS
8:30 p.m., Monday

The Vikings have been one of the biggest early-season surprises. Led by steady quarterback Brad Johnson and running back Chester Taylor, Minnesota blasted the defending NFC champion Seahawks last week and now are turning their attention to Tom Brady and the Patriots.
At 5-1, the Patriots appear once again to be one of the premier teams in the NFL. Minnesota will have its hands full with these guys.
ABCTickets.com NFL Prediction: New England 20, Minnesota 14
(Last Week: 5-8/Season 65-39)

MINNESOTA VIKINGS (4-3) AT SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS (2-5) TICKETS
4:05 p.m., Sunday
Monster Park
The Minnesota Vikings may be one of the most underrated teams in professional football. Chester Taylor has emerged as a potent rusher, and the Vikings defense and special teams seem to score a touchdown on their own every week, be it on an interception, a punt return, or a fake field goal. This team is fun to watch, for sure. And don't forget that they have a Super Bowl winning quarterback in Brad Johnson. This week they head to San Francisco to take on the self-destructing 49ers. The Niners don't stand a chance. They can't stop anybody. The Vikings should come home from California with yet another win under their belts.
ABCTickets.com NFL Prediction: Minnesota Vikings 28, San Francisco 49ers 3

PAST WEEK'S MINNESOTA VIKINGS TICKETS
MINNESOTA VIKINGS (3-2) AT SEATTLE SEAHAWKS (4-1) TICKETS
4 P.M., Sunday
Qwest Field
The Vikings enter this game at 3-2 and 1-1 on the road. It will be tough to get a win at Qwest but it could happen. After all, the Seahawks have shown that they are beatable. But then again, that was not the Vikings doing the proving. Expect this to be a close game, with the Vikings putting up a respectable fight, but the Hawks have to be given the edge.
Fantasy Football ticket to victory: Vikings quarterback Brad Johnson (Last week: Vikings bye).

PAST WEEK’S MINNESOTA VIKINGS TICKETS
Chicago Bears at Minnesota Vikings
1 p.m., Sunday
The Metrodome
Head coach Brad Childress has instantly turned the Vikings into the playoff
contenders. A gritty, hard-nosed bunch has jumped out to a surprising 2-0 start
and replaced the flash of the Randy Moss-Daunte Culpepper years.
But the Bears from the Windy City are no slouches either. They are the measuring
stick in the NFC North and also off to a 2-0 start.
Will the Bears head home with their first loss? Or will a packed Metrodome go
away disappointed?
ABCTickets.com NFL Prediction: Chicago 17, Minnesota 14 (Last week: 13-3/Season:
33-9)
Fantasy football ticket to victory: Minnesota wide receiver Troy Williamson
(Last week: quarterback Brad Johnson - 19-31, 243 yards, 0 TD, 1 INT)
