Nashville Predators ticket and team info
Listen up! The Nashville Predators are an early pick to go to the Stanley Cup
Finals. Yes, Nashville, Tennessee. If Carolina can do it, why not the Preds?
Fans in the
Gaylord Entertainment Center will be treated to a strong, deep, talented
team that could go all the way. Fans in the know won't want to miss a second of
the run to the Stanley Cup with Nashville Predators tickets. Grab your catfish,
and get in on the ground floor to follow this team all the way in. It'll be
worth every minute.
The Star
It's hard to pick out one star on this richly talented team, but team captain
Kimmo Timonen really shines. The prowling defenseman is also the team's All-Time
Scoring Leader. The big Finn is one of the most under-rated defensemen in the
NHL and represented Finland in the 2004 World Cup of Hockey, posting the 5th
highest point total in the tournament. He's a solid player, and will provide
leadership on the ice that will make the Preds a contender.
The Coach
The Predators have only known one coach in their history, Barry Trotz. He's led
the team to two consecutive playoff appearances, but his leash may be short
without a deep playoff run. The pressure's on in Nashville, and Trotz will
respond. His no-nonsense style will take them far, maybe even all the way to the
Stanley Cup Finals.
The Team
Nashville Predators ticket holders will be treated to some great hockey on both
offense and defense. The Preds offense should be just as explosive as it was
last season, and their goaltending cannot be beat. Number one goalie Tomas
Vokoun returns from the blood clotting condition that kept him on the bench last
season. The defense is young, but they have the drive and determination, not to
mention the skills to keep Nashville Predators ticket holders on their feet the
whole game. The best ice hockey in the South, if not the whole NHL will be
played in the Gaylord Entertainment Center this season. Don't be left out during
this great 2006-07 season! Get your Predators tickets today!
Nashville Predators info
Nashville Predators tickets are poised to bring a Central Division crown to NHL
fans savvy enough to realize the Predators have made all the right moves in the
off-season. The signing of forward Paul Kariya, longtime standout for the Mighty
Dicks and the Colorado Avalanche, is a great addition to the Predators lineup.
Coming off Nashville’s first appearance in the playoffs, the hoopla surrounding
Kariya’s signing boosted Nashville Predators tickets into the stratosphere.
The Predators hit the Music City in 1998. Since then they have shown steady
progress in building their team. Garnering their first playoff berth in 2004
made it clear to the rest of the NHL that Nashville was serious about creating a
formidable force to contend with in the Central Division. The Predators were
already in good shape in January of 2004, when they boasted of a 25-17-6-2
record. Not satisfied with the quality of their roster, Nashville went out and
signed Steve Sullivan from the Chicago Blackhawks. Sullivan netted 10 goals in
his first three games. Then the Predators added Brad Bombardir and Sergei
Zholtok. The moves propelled Nashville to a 38-29-11-4 finish and landed the
franchise’s first playoff berth. Facing the more experienced Detroit Red Wings,
the Predators fell in the first round after Game 6.
Kariya should pay immediate dividends for the Predators in 2005-2006. His speed,
size, and talent fit nicely with the Predators style of play. Kariya’s presence
on the roster even created excitement among the other players just knowing an
All-Star caliber forward would be on the ice in the Gaylord Entertainment
Center. But it won’t be a one man show. Center David Legwand is already a major
force on the ice. Goaltender Tomas Vokoun has begun to blossom in his position
and defensemen Kimo Timonen and Marek Zidlicky are solid players.
Nashville Predators tickets are creating a lot of excitement among NHL hockey
fans in the Music City. Intent on reaching the playoffs again, Nashville’s
management bolstered an already sterling lineup with new talent. The Gaylord
Entertainment Center will be a focal point of the battle for Central Division
dominance in 2006, so don’t hesitate to get your Nashville Predators tickets
today. Tomorrow may be too late.
