With a whopping 47 assists last season, Naslund has proven himself a useful asset to Vancouver, despite his contributions' having been eclipsed by shoddy goaltending and the indefatigable Vancouver tendency to stink in the post-season.

THE TEAM

If hockey wasn't the national religion of Canada, the Canucks would be washed out. The team hasn't tasted the Stanley Cup finals since 1994, when they squared off against most-loathed-team-in-hockey The New York Rangers.
