We've got the AT&T Cotton Bowl tickets that will put you in the prime seats to
see two traditional powers collide on New Year's Day. The Auburn Tigers will
represent Southeastern Conference against Big 12 heavyweight the Nebraska
Cornhuskers in one of the most intriguing match-ups of the bowl season. AT&T
Cotton Bowl tickets should be on the wish list for every college football fan.
Auburn Tigers Cotton Bowl Tickets
Expectations were high to start the season for Tommy Tuberville's Tigers. But a
mid-season loss to Arkansas, coupled by disappointing performance in a defeat to
rival Georgia, ended Auburn's national title hopes. Still, the Tigers own a win
over SEC champion Florida, who is now headed for the BCS National Championship
Game.
Auburn also finished up the regular season by beating archrival Alabama for the
fifth straight season to earn their Cotton Bowl tickets.
The New Year's Day tilt with Nebraska will mark the last time the Irons
brothers-star running back Kenny Irons and hard-hitting defensive back David
Irons-will don the Auburn uniform. Kenny Irons has battled injuries throughout
his senior season but expects to be healthy for the Cotton Bowl. David Irons,
the older of the two siblings, also has visions of ending his college career on
a high note. That could be bad news for the Cornhuskers.
Nebraska Cornhuskers Cotton Bowl Tickets
Slowly, but surely, Nebraska football is starting to look like the dominant
program of years past. This season, under the direction of head coach Bill
Callahan, the Huskers captured the Big 12 North championship to earn their
Cotton Bowl tickets.
Quarterback Zac Taylor, the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year, leads a
balanced Cornhusker attack that can put up points in bunches.
Nebraska also has shown the ability to play with some of the best college
football teams in the nation. They played USC tough, before falling to the
Trojans in Los Angeles. The Cornhuskers had Texas on the ropes, before a late
fumble would derail their upset bid. In the Dr. Pepper Big 12 Championship Game,
Nebraska tested Oklahoma before losing a hard-fought 21-7 decision.

last four contests to end their season. First the Raiders wiped out Baylor 28-0.
They moved on to knock of the Aggies of Texas A&M in a whopping 56-17 blowout.
After a tough loss to Oklahoma State, Mike Leach rallied his troops for a 23-21
win over the vaunted Oklahoma Sooners. Under former Sooner assistant Mike Leach,
the Red Raiders shocked the fourth-ranked California Golden Bears last year in
the Holiday Bowl. They’re no strangers to winning the big games.
Alabama’s Crimson Tide earned their Cotton Bowl tickets by running off a string
of nine consecutive wins in the SEC. Mike Shula’s boys won’t be in a good mood
